Exactly. And along that line, I know people who give boas a much higher basking spot, too. To achieve this, they have a much larger enclosure with lots of hides and crevaces, and they still have a great cool spot. Again, no problems there. They eat, they bask in the very high basking spot for a short period of time, then they move.
