Breeding Collab!
Hey, everyone. Me and a friend are getting into a breeding collaboration with each other. He knows a lot more than me so he'll be working with the Burms, and Retics, I'll be working with the Boas, and Ball Pythons. Really excited!! He has tons of snakes and incubators... Everything we need is ready. We're going to buy a few more Boas on Sunday and get going. I'm really excited, and since I have no breeding experience yet, he'll basically be mentoring me. Really really excited, and I'll keep you guys updated on everything.

Re: Breeding Collab!
From the link in your signature, you are a teenager. As another teenager, i can offer two pieces of advice:
1: don't breed
2: DON'T BREED.
It's just not a good idea..... How will you afford to house the babies into adulthood if you can't find a buyer? How will you afford babies in general? Who is going to buy from you?
How will you even house the breeders? Boas are big, and they need suitable enclosures, which would be hard for a kid to provide. How will you afford to feed all the babies? How will you afford to feed the adults? How will you even afford to buy them in the first place? Will you not focus on school for the snakes? Are you even responsible enough to house ONE in the first place?
Kids =/= good breeders. Take it from another teenager...
EDIT: I also saw that you are moving now, and have no idea what to house your snakes in. If you can't answer that question on your own, you are certainly not ready to breed any reptile.

Re: Breeding Collab!
Hannibal raises good points but if you can provide a stable environment for your breeders and offspring I'd say go for it. Just don't get in over your head and take things you can't handle.

Did you happen to catch the part about me winning over 100k? The guy I'm working with bought a property for us to work in. That's where we will be doing our breeding/housing. He's 27 years old, breeding reptiles since he was a kid. I know how to house a snake. I don't know how to sneak six snakes into a hotel. Btw: I'm in college and I have a full time job.. I am already done with schooling and I take my college courses whenever I want.

Re: Breeding Collab!
Age has absolutely nothing to do with breeding animals... Everyone has different amounts of experience and knowledge and everyone has different abilities. Plus I'll be supervised by my friend who has a lot of experience. Once he thinks I'm okay on my own, I'll be doing my own projects, but he'll be helping me for a while.

Re: Breeding Collab!
You know how to house snakes, but had one that escaped. Ignored and fought valuable advise given to you, and didn't have enough money to buy a Tstat but plenty to buy new snakes, total disreguard to basic needs.
I don't think breeding is a good idea.

Edit: I don't need to justify myself. Deal with it.

No. You don't have "us guys". You need to earn the knowledge of others. You've proven you're nothing but a little brat.
I don't believe a word you said and I think your "friend" just found a way to get free labour from a sucker who "won a 100k"

Am I getting you confused with someone else or have you been banned from here at least twice?
