Narrow your scope (species wise)
Invest in high quality (don't breed just to breed. Create high quality animals that are going to make you stand out and I mean genetically and visually)
Know your market. For example beardies can produce up to 22 eggs in a clutch, and lay up to 5 clutches in a season
So if you have 120 bearded babies that means you're probably going to have to wholesale most if not all. Then imagine how hard it's going to be to do that if 10 other people are trying to wholesale 120 bearded dragons. Is especially if the ones you're producing are plain Jane normals. Same goes for anything else you produce.
If you want to make money you need to spend more on individual projects
