But what I'm driving at here is that Bear Grylls' killings are unnecessary. He and his crew undoubtedly bring sandwiches with them. Do you really think a camera crew is going to eat monitor lizard cooked over a camp fire? Of course not. If they have sandwiches, he has them too.
It's unnecessary killing, for the sake of killing. And he's televising it, encouraging impressionable youth to go out and kill reptiles in their own backyard/ neighborhood.
