I know most of this has already been suggested to one degree or another.

But when I lost my snake, after many hours of searching, setting traps and tearing a lot of dry wall down. I set up a camera where I thought she was coming out. Sure enough after reviewing the camera she would come out every few days.

THE PLAN: I cut and set up a large cardboard box like a fence leaving a space where she could get in. I laid a towel on the floor under it and put a red heat lamp over top for heat and insulation. I also put in a hide, water dish and mouse.

The Trap Is Set: I then set watching this for four days, late afternoon and evenings when I knew she was coning out. After three days I think it was she came out and I waited till she got away from her escape route
and nabbed her.

I hope this help to some degree, Oh, BTW she was gone for 9 weeks before I got her back. She was tiny from no food and dehydrated but in good health other then that and is doing GREAT now.
