Well if he is upstairs and you have a bathroom upstairs fill the tub with hot water before bed and put a hide with heat mat in there. The moisture will attract him. The heat will keep him. Also try keeping every light in the house on until late. The turn everything off,wait 10 min and then run around turning it all back on and look for him. They come out rigjt when the lights go off when in their enclosures right.... good luck!!

This is only if you wanna go extreme but....




You could do this for every room and leave a mouse in each one. Which ever room the mouse goes missing in you know which part of the house he prefers to be in. They won't move as much with a full stomach either so he won't be too far away from where you left the mouse as long as there are hiding spots.
