Ummm.... no it isn't actually. A warm side between 85 and 90 degrees is standard for boas..

Agree with ladybug. 85-90 is fine.

Doesn't really matter as long as you can keep humidity but make sure the basking bulb doesn't get too hot directly underneath.

I was told by many people for the hot sides to be around 90, but I could be wrong.

Even if you weren't wrong (and the research I've done along with the consensus here says you are), how would 5 degrees cooler = "really low"?

It's not really low, I shouldn't have used those words. Like I said I was told to keep the hot side around 90, if I am wrong my bad.

Stop posting guesses and thoughts as FACT - if you arent sure make it clear in your posts that you arent sure and you wont get pulled up on it!

If you are wrong and still pass on the wrong info it becomes someone elses "bad" please keep it to yourself unless you know from experience.

You should stop talking to whoever you're talking to. You have proven to the rest of us that you have. *ZERO* knowledge.
Where does your information come from? I'm assuming it flies out of your bum
OK and wrong again on it getting too hot above. If I am providing a basking spot of 92 degrees via a lamp and presumably a ledge or the top of a hide for the animal to bask on, thermodynamics says the area around will also absorb the heat making the appropriate temperature gradient. Its all about finding the proper wattage
There how does it feel to talk to someone that has a clue?

I said make sure it doesn't get hot directly below the bulb for a reason. You know what bearded dragons are? The basking spot for them is 100-110 degrees depending on their age. People achieve this 100-110 with just one bulb so I'm pretty sure BD keepers don't have any basking super powers. You're obviously the father of thermodynamics though.

you do know there are different watts right... actually, no, you have already proven to provide bad info not just here but in other places as well. If I wanted false info I'd make it up myself :/

Read another post about my agreement with Korbin, all information leading up to that deal has a big *VOID* sticker on it.

But the problem is you dont fact check before you lay out information. What if I had no one elses input and went off of yours and my boa died. It would be your false and misinformation that would have caused me to believe you were indeed right. Double check facts before you post them. Lose the snark when others call you out on it. Step down and admit you are wrong without sounding like a jackass braying to try and get the last word in. Any time you are called out on something, rather than admit you were wrong you do this:

You know crap all. Let me make that very clear. I have seen your other posts and they are terrible. You have no idea what the hell you're talking about 90% of the time.
And let's just mildly entertain the idea you had some kind of clue *you* would have quoted the source of your information instead of waiting for someone to do it for you if it existed at all in the first place. Sometimes the sun shines on even the most unfortunate dog's behind once in a while.

I'm not going to be posting things I don't know 100% anymore, I've had an agreement with Korbin. Read other posts as I've already clarified it around five times. I never insulted your gender nor appearance though so I'm not sure what that's about.
