Ackie troubles

I have seen breeding activity and now my two females are fighting to the point of drawing blood... Simple clean flesh wounds nothing deep but noticeable. I separated them for now via large critter keeper inside the main cage. Both females were seeming to defend an individual rock almost religiously for the last 2-3 days. Defending against both the males as well. Any clues to why this is happening would be of great help.

Re: Ackie troubles

From what I understand aggressive behavior isn't too unusual for gravid females. Same thing with any other animal, LOL.

Re: Ackie troubles

Thank you, Pirarucu. I am going to be building a cage over the weekend to do a suitable permanent separation and do some way past due incubator research.

Re: Ackie troubles

Ice chest, wine coolers or refrigerators make great incubator. Order some heat tape and a herpstat and you will be good to go. My herpstat was the most expensive thing
