Greetings from Florida
Hello everyone on the ssnakess forums. I am Nataku, and I've been lurking and reading through many of the various posts here on this forum for several months. So much useful information here, thank you all for having such an informative community!
Anywho, I've bitten the bullet and joined the forum as I have gotten back into snakes after nearly a decade. I have two snakes now, one an adult male ball python and the other a young female brazilian rainbow boa. I've kept ball pythons before, so his care requirements were rather straightforward to me. But the BRB was a snake I'd been admiring from a distance for some time but had no experience with (I've been digging through the epicrates section of these forums for a while to try and learn what I can). I recently acquired this juvenile BRB from the Orlando Repticon, and she has so far settled very well and has taken two fuzzies, which please me greatly that she hasn't shown any hesitation in feeding.

Greetings Infernalis.
Do ya'll have a collection of mat pictures you rotate through, or is it just the same one you have developed a preference for?

actually, I have a shortcut on my desktop, whenever I approve someones first post, I use it. Alessia has her own welcome that she uses.

Re: Greetings from Florida
Ah cool cool. Sorry Infernalis, but I think I like Alessia's mat more, its so colorful!
Also yay, Florida folks! I'm in Daytona Beach myself, so a couple hours north of you Alessia. Any of you plan on going to the Daytona Reptile Expo later this year in August? I'm literally within walking distance of that location, and will of course be attending, I hope to see lots of folks there.
BigSnakeGirl - I'm trying to post pictures, but I don't think I can yet, it is giving me an error about trying to include URLs when I try to post them.

Not sure yet whether I'll attend Daytona. I'll keep you posted.
Now that you have 5 posts, you should be able to embed photos in your posts.

Re: Greetings from Florida
Picture time? Picture time. I can do this now, yay!
...
....or not. Still getting the same message about number of URLs being allowed in a post (and forbidden words? Is there a list I can check to see if this is an issue? There's no expletives in any of my picture URLs). Think I might be doing something wrong? I tried both typing in the [img] codes as well as using the insert image button, but its still not letting them go through. Do I need to make a new topic? Or is five posts not enough?
Please do let me know if you do decide to go, I've been going each year for a while now, but I can't say as I ever really know any of the people I see there. xD Regardless, lots of cool things to see and people to meet at the expos.

PM me the links, I'll see if I can help you out.
Also, only 8 images per post (including smileys/emoticons). You'll have to make multiple posts to post more photos. Maybe that was your issue?

Re: Greetings from Florida
What Alessia said, just split them up into different posts.

Re: Greetings from Florida
Okay here we go, should be working now I'll just post a few here for now.
This is Argus, my brazilian rainbow boa.
And that's her but as she does laps around her tub.
This is Charon, a ball python that will sleep in your shirt if you give him the opportunity to get there.
