Re: blue gtp?
There are pure blue animals, males and females. Most pure blues are 3k and up. If you are looking to purchase a GTP may I suggest you look at the Morelia Viridis forum on their sale page. That is the safe place to purchase a GTP. There are many, many, many red babies on there.

Re: blue gtp?
Green Tree Pythons babies come out of the egg yellow or red. This will be her first clutch so there is no guarantee that the babies will be blue but there is a good chance because the male is also a blue.

Re: blue gtp?
I can only guess $900 and up, because it is her first clutch. After that babies will run for 3k and up.

Re: blue gtp?
Just to emphasize something he said, so you don't get stiffed in the end. If your looking for a blue snake, you better buy a blue snake. What I mean by this is : If you have 2 beautiful 10,000 dollar each parents, solid blue and not hormonal. And you buy a baby. there is no gaurantee, or known percent likelihood that you will get a blue snake. You may just get a regular ol green one, you may get some blue spots here and there, etc. etc.
Buy an adult, spend the extra cash..unless you enjoy gambling or plan to start a breeding project and have time to wait

Very good advise here! Yes even the parents are true blue and the babies will never 100% sure they will be a blue worm. If it is your first gtp, better start with something locality like a beautiful biak or aru type first, they are beautiful and inexpensive.

Re: blue gtp?
Yeah that's what I was planning on doing,
But I want a red one for sure,
I was just curious to know, think they're beautiful!
Something I'd want in the future @Edmond_Y

Re: blue gtp?
I actually like the mite phase / melanistic and the very high yellows much more than the blues.
