Re: Is kale good for beardies?
Kale is good, though not as a staple green. In other words, its fine to throw into the variety, but dont use it as the main part of their diet. Kale is high in oxalic acid, which binds to calcium and renders it useless for your dragon. So even though kale is also high in calcium, your dragon will not be able to absorb most of it, giving it a poor Ca:P ratio. Its better to use things like collard greens, arugula, alfalfa (plants, not the sprouts) or if you have access to ones without herbicides and pesticides, then dandelion greens are great too.
