Hot glue gun or aquarium sealant for glass cages?

Hi, I have an 18x18x18 exo terra for my JCP ( I will post pics up later for ya'll to see) and I followed the the advice from some of the posters here to make perches from pvc pipes and attach pvc holders to the sides of the walls.

However, I have both the options of using a hot glue gun or aquarium sealant for sticking the perch holders to walls. Which would you use on glass? Which is stronger, and also safer for the snake?

personally, i would use aquarium sealant because a) it is more permanent b) it is designed to adhere to glass
i probably wouldnt use the glue gun at all; i woudl be worred that the whole thing would peel off the glass and fall down.
HOWEVER, I'm assuming your 18x18x18 cage is only temporary, and you may want to use it again in the future for something that is not arboreal... so i guess use your best judgement?

Damn, I was too late. I already went ahead and used glue gun. It worked fine. Has a very firm grip on the glass and dries up very fast.

On my next cage I'm going to experiment with the aquarium sealant.

I just cut a 1" pvc pipe into "u" shaped pieces to stick on the sides, and the perches I use are 1/2" pvc pipes that are cut down to fit the tank. Wiped the green marker marks after I took the photo.

and my JCP
