help

i bought some mice for my speckled king snake and it didnt eat right away so i left the mouse in the cage and it ate a big hole in her what do i do

Oh my!! Ouch!! Get her to a vet to make sure it doesn't become infected! I'd switch to frozen asap

I'd just keep watch on the food item next time and nor leave it in the cage.

Well yes keeping an eye on it would be a great idea, but just my opinion frozen might be better for this snake since its already hurt badly..

If you put 2 of anything alive in a confined space they'll fight till one dies generally most of the time... If you we're planning on leaving food overnight you would still use live??

What do you do? Give the snake to someone who is not going to be so careless with it's wellbeing.
Alternately, get it to a vet as soon as possible, and do some serious research about how to switch to F/T, the dangers of leaving live prey in with your snake, and being a responsible pet owner.

thanks for the help the vet said she will be ok someone gave me the snake, but care dearly for it i didn't do this on purpose i had no idea this was even possible the vet said she is about to shed thats why she didnt eat the mouse>
