Planaria worm

Found this on my back patio tonight. It's a planaria what type I'm not sure. But I believe the common term is hammerhead worm. Weird little thing. Just thought I would share.

are you sure it isnt a leech? It looks absolutely huge to be a planarian! Do you live near water at all?

It's a land planarian. Not a leech. It's only about 2-3 inches long. There is apparently 4 species that can be found across America that are found around moist soil areas.

That looks bigger than 2-3 inches. correct me if I am wrong but is that a red maple tree seed if so they are about 1" if not bigger. If that is what I think it is then that worm is about 6".
