IR Gun

I was adviced on here to use a IR gun , which is a great idea . I have ordered one , and now i see i have ordered the non contact temp gun , and not the laser gun . Does this matter , or is the laser gun better ? Tracy.

Re: IR Gun

I don't see anything wrong with not having a laser. All temp guns are non contact. Can i see the one you ordered?

Re: IR Gun

The laser is good if you measure head temps of your snakes but isn't required.

Funny how when those pointers came out they were $45 and now they are at the dollar store.

Re: IR Gun

Temp gun arrived today , and i`am really pleased with it !! . It is amazing how the temps differ from area to area in the tank . It certainly give`s a bigger picture on whats going on . So when i point it at my reptiles , is it giving me a surface reading ?
