Holy power, Batman!

You guys are NOT joking about the strength of these guys. Feeding time today included a large medium F/T rat and apparently it was enough to illicit a tag this time around. And boy what a tag it was. It was like a pro-boxer freakin' sucker punch. And the speed? Unbelievable! One minute the snake and rat were 2 separate entities and before I could blink she had it wrapped. The force of the strike made me jump about a foot back from the enclosure lol. And she's a little thing still. She has humbled me and my respect-o-meter just went off the charts. I love her awesomeness.

For contrast, my little female Blood is more reserved, at least so far. She is 6 months old and is very mellow.

^^^ You got a sweet one. I hope her temperament doesn't change. A friend of mine just got one that is very sweet. I wanted her!

Mine is doing a lot of huffin' and puffin' right now. She strikes out at air when you pick her up but settles down fairly quick. I'm hoping that she'll eventually get where she'll trust me.
