Re: enclosure?

I like PVC/Wood and glass for them, make sure they are ventilated but not enough to lose all of your humidity. I prefer using RHPs to heat them you can get them in canada from Greg west or Exclusive snakes, hand spray will be enough to maintain humidity if its sealed right, otherwise a fogger/misting system will be needed.
Have you thought of using a planted vivarium?

Re: enclosure?

I tend to use glass vivs for gtps and tree boas, heated by either a ceramic heater or spot bulbs above, and sprayed with a pump hand sprayer.
Temperature wise, i give them basking areas of around 88 and lower in the cage the temps drop to mid 70s.

have used wooden in the past aswell

Re: enclosure?

I custom build all my vivs.. My GTP is kept in a 3ft tall x 3ft wide 2 ft deep Oak viv. I heat with a Radiant heat panel and I mist once a week. I offer a hot spot of 95 and a cool spot of 75.
