Upset tummy

I've got a BRB who had runny stool yesterday. She ate last week and hasn't skipped a meal, and ate last week. I did skip her at last night's feeding. Can I treat with Baytril or anything until I can fit a vet visit into the budget?

Thanks as always!

A runny stool is fine, honestly... it happens.
Treating with meds without a vet visit is generally a really bad idea.
Why did you skip her meal? Did she skip or did you?

Re: Upset tummy

I skipped it. I thought to maybe treat it like a regurgitation? (I also had one of those last week from my smallest snake.)

Couldn't hurt to get a fecal done if you have the extra cash laying around, but otherwise its just 1 runny stool and I wouldn't worry unless you have other signs.
Feed her and keep the routine going, generally unless you are going into a brumation season (for some snakes only) you only want to skip their meals if they want to,

Re: Upset tummy

Totally agree, as it could just be something minor that the snakes immune system will deal with on its own. Introducing antibiotics in this case could do more harm than good.

By the way, nice to see you back Stephan.
