Golden Hour Esmeralda

I checked in on Esmeralda earlier this afternoon and I just couldn't resist taking a few shots in the golden hour light.

Beautiful snake, have you checked how much havin the sun shining in its tank changes the temoerature? A good thermostat should keep temps under control but if the sun is shining in there too long then it can cause serious temperature spikes

Haven't really had the need to. I usually keep the blinds shut so she doesn't get direct light. I just had them open for the pictures.

She's doing much better. She now eats in front of me and doesn't bite as much. It used to be that when she'd see me around she would freeze and breathe heavily. Now she looks more comfortable just cruising around her viv and doing the "retic dance".
