question about quarintine......

So i understand you are supposed to quarintine a snake for about 60 days. i have nothing wrong with that. here is my question. I bouight a animal plastics t10 tank for my dums originaly and i ended up buying a BCC last night. I feel i can get away with a t8 for my dums so should i hold off on putting my dums in the t10 and just have the t 10 set up for the bcc?

also how do you guys lower humidity with the pvc cages? they hold humidity great i see.... i am using two acurite indoor/outdoor thermomitors. one on each end of the tank and they are reading 5% off of eachother, one is 72% the other is 78%. how should i go about getting the humidity down to around 50? just leave it and it should drop in a week or what do you think?

Thanks
Nick

Re: question about quarintine......

What kind of substrate are you using? How large is the water dish?

I'd go with a smaller enclosure for the smaller snake. You won't have to switch their enclosures earlier than 60 days so you should be fine.
