Anyone tried Kwellada instead of Nix for mites??

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone tried Kwellada for snake mites, and if so, what were the results, or complications, if any? I know lots of people use P.A.M., Reptile Relief and Nix, but I'm curious about other "home remedies".

500% more active ingredient.

as Mykee said be very careful mate

there is only 0.50% Permerthrin in provent a mite

you really need to be 100% correct with your dillution

personally i would just buy a can of provent a mite,to give me peace of mind

I've used Nix before, but never P.A.M. since it's illegal in Canada and therefore difficult too source. Nix & Kwellada both have 1% Permethrin as the active ingredient, and it was recommended by someone with a PhD so I wanted to look into it. Where did you read that it has 500% more active ingredient?

I have never heard anything about PAM being illegal in Canada. Where did you hear this?

Not illegal to have but not legal for sale. Kind of a grey area but it doesn't have french lables. I bought mine at a reptile expo and at a store so it is available BUT it's bloody expensive. PAM is the most convenient to use but Nix works just as good and is a fraction of the price. I see your in Ontario. Nix is available at any Shoppers Drugmart. So my advice is go for Nix and don't bother with anything else.

Regardless the op lives in Ontario where Nix is available almost everywhere. Why mess with anything else? IMHO of course
