Re: Picking up my latest snake
Didn't end up getting him.
Few reasons 1 he said it was a female it wasn't not to bothered about that but the main reason was:
While I was picking him up he never moved, then while I was holding him he didn't grip me nothing like my boa's even the corn snake griped more. Then as I was looking for mites, scratches anything out of the ordinary as a got to lower half I felt a lump. It was hard about the size of a marble then I noticed more so I asked if he had just eaten, he said no so I said what are these lumps, he said they were fat deposits but this snake was not fat at all, anyway didn't want to risk it so as I put him back I noticed he was a bit limp at the tail I told the young lad and he said its OK its normal.
Shame as to look at the snake it was beautiful about 7' nice size but not for me.
Any ideas what health probs this snake had?

I don't know about the health problems but it's good that you were so observant about all of it. There is another out there somewhere waiting for you!!!
