New Dog In The House...

Hello everyone, i am a proud owner of a baby cornsnake. I have had her for about 8 months now. have been very happy with her and never had a single problem. she is fed regularly and held almost every night. but for the last few days she has been acting strange, every time i go to pick her up she will rattle her tail and sometimes strike. so ill leave her alone for a few mins the pick her up and she is fine. sometimes she just wants to get away, so ill just put her back in the viv. the only thing i can think of is we got a puddle a week ago. could maybe the scent be causing this?

PS: ill post a pic of her later, Maybe someone can help me identify just what kind she is lol.

Thank you in advanced

Re: New Dog In The House...

We have all sorts of animals in our house. Corns rattle their tails when excited, one of mine does it when he gets food

Its perfectly normal, just pick him up anyway . Smooth confident movements tend to stop strikes
