My poor little guy. Any answer please.

Please help me figure this out. My little guy has something wrong with his back. He is handle very gental. He has not been squashed. This is something that I have noticed awhile ago and has gotten much worse. When I got him he was under weight. He now looks like this al the time. He does still get around. sometimes he has difficulties. I don't know what is going on with him. Does anyone have any answers. I have only had his since Novemember.

How have you not taken it to the vet? God knows what that is but please get it sorted.

It looks like a broken back and lot of pain. My god i never seen anything like it. PLEASE, PLEASE get this poor thing to a VET right away, and keep us updated.

Where do you live in Canada? Maybe one of our Canadian members can directed you to a reptile vet in our area.

You might have to put him down.. I've NEVER seen anything like this before. It looks like he might be in A LOT of pain.. please get him to a vet asap.

It seems to me that he was stepped on, or had something very heavy dropped on him..

Oh god. It looks like someone dropped a rock on it (and I'm not convinced they didn't). No wonder her intro post said "have patience with me." GET OFF THE INTERNET AND SEE A VET.

However it happened, it looks like he might be in pain. I would advise you to take him to a reptile vet who can help made a medical decision about the situation. Please keep us updated on what you find out.

wow...not really sure what i'm looking at. if that is vertebral, i'd be surprised if the snake was neurologically intact below that defect. that doesn't look good at all... please let us know what you find out.

for your info. NOTHING FELL ON HIM. As for a vet I have looked there is not to many. and NO he as not been like this for months. I notice one or two days over the past few wks. when he was in his water it was like that just a little. It is since last night that he has been like this. I have emailed the breeder and waiting for a response. he will be put down in the very near future, and I will not be buying from that breeder ever again. He is not my first reptile. AGAIN NOTHING FELL ON HIM. NOTHING SQUASHED HIM. This is why I do not like forms. people can be really mean, and assume things.

My best guess would be that the snake is malnourished. Possibly used up the calcium in his spine and it collapsed. Either way, that snake needs to be put out of its misery IMO.

No one "assumed" something did fall on him. We said that's what it looks like because it does. It's not like we've not seen people lie to cover their mistakes.

Also, how is "there is not to many" a reason he's not been to a vet?

I see no one being mean to you, you are asking for our help, and you are jumping all over those who have answered you. If you truly want to help your snake, please do whatever is necessary to get the proper medical care for him.
