Naturalistic Terrarium
I have a Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium that's 18 x 18 x 24 and I have no idea what to do with it. Not really interested in a chameleon or gecko but if anyone else has an idea that would utilize this tank nicely I'd appreciate it.

Aren't they more terrestrial?
@Calihusker, I'm not sure if they can easily be switched to mice. From what I've heard they usually stick to anoles.

Would be a good starter size for a red tailed green rat snake (Elaphe oxycephala). Awesome looking snakes. A few members here have them and could give you some details on care.

Aren't vine snakes hard to keep in captivity? And don't they need a huuuge space?

A colony of dart frogs? Or maybe a steppe runner? It's hard to find something arboreal that small without including some species of gecko.

My brother had a wild caught and it was a little ****, are there many captives? And how are rough greens in captivity? The place I go to has some ltc.

I think they are beautiful snakes but Ive never owned one, so cant really say much about their 'personality'. UwabamiReptiles has a couple I think. You could PM him to find out more. I know there is a thread somewhere of one of the other members getting some too.

My Kenyan Sand Boa is in a 24X12X16 (LXWXH) and is very happy in it. You may like to try this for your enclosure--just make sure you have something he can climb on and a good amount of bedding as these guys love to burrow! Also, make sure you have a good solid lid because these guys love to stretch out and attempt to escape! You will also need a warm side and a cool side (small under-tank heater works well). These guys don't need a whole lot of humidity either unless they are in shed and then you can add a temporary humid hide.

Red eye tree frogs, Whites tree frogs, Grey tree frogs, Waxy monkey tree frogs, Clown tree frogs, Green tree frogs, Cuban tree frogs, Milk frogs....... The list gos on and on lol

Does anyone know if a Coxi would be fine in a 18 x 18 x 24? I know they're semi arboreal but I'm not sure if they're more terrestrial.

From ratsnakezone's husbandry advice: A 24 x 18 x 18" well ventilated viviarium or similar sized container is suitable for an adult. Too large an enclosure is likely to stress this species.

Awesome I might just get a Coxi then. Not sure how I will go about heating.. Maybe a small UTH under the hide and a RHP on top.

Get a rough green snake. Dead easy to care for and quite attractive species. They love to climb and stay small too. Would suit your little terrarium just nice...
