help me choose what t stat

A.Vivarium Electronics VE-100 ~$90 with shipping
B. Vivarium Electronics VE-200 ~ ~120 with shipping
C. Herpstat Basic ~ $114
D. Herpstat 1 ~$140

i may possibly pick one of these up at a show next weekend but i want your oppinion on what one you like better and why.

These will be powering a 80w RHP in an animal plastics tank. Unsure on the size tank but it will be a 48x24x?

Re: help me choose what t stat

You're willing to spend the money for a proportional, so already throw out the 100.
If you go with a Herpstat, buy from Spyder direct right now, they're running a sale. Otherwise Beanfarm for the Herpstat or Reptile Basics for the VE is where I would buy. For just one enclosure right now I would just go with the basic, its currently listed at $103 through Dec. 7th. (Might have to pick one up myself actually)

edit: then again, if its something that needs humidity control, the Herpstat 1 would be the way to go and splurge a bit and get the humidity sensor as well.

lawl. I just got my herpstat 1 in for my new rack add on lol oh well I missed the sale . . .but yes Herpstat 1 (you can use the basic, but why settle for the lack of safety features?) Buy once, buy right.

One of my friends just bought 2 herpstat 4's a few weeks ago, I posted the sale on a forum we're both on and he's kicking himself now. Lost out on nearly $100
