as long as someone doesnt force the snake to be stuck in something and its a rare thing for photos i hardly see as much of a problem with it; however, the hats look uncomfortable. If my snake wanted out all he would have to do is move forward.

Your acting as if your snake has a say in this. No matter how nice you put the clothing on, you're still forcing it on them.

I wouldn't necessarily call it "cruel," as it's unlikely to cause severe physical or psychological suffering, but it's certainly not something that's "cute" and is likely to at least be somewhat unpleasant for the snake. No need to do this to them.

I'm losing my faith in this forum. Any new thread I see is often met with negativity.
In my mind, when I think of animal cruelty and abuse, I don't think of someone putting a harmless hat on their snake. I think of the reptiles (and animals) who are starved, beaten, mutilated, slaughtered inhumanely, tortured...
BUT CRAP, THAT SNAKE IS WEARING A HAT? ABUSE ABUSE.

I am a little surprised myself at all the people shouting abuse.. I don't think it is abuse at all. I do think it is really lame and pointless though.
