first rat feeding!

so after all the time i have been waiting to get Roe on to rats and today i really could get any mice petco seemed to be out of the ones i ways get,as i was looking around i seen that they are starting to sell Rat's i was super happy but still kinda scared because i didnt want to get the wrong size really...so i said what the hake ill go head and get them. i also hit petsmart on the way home and got 2 of there smaller rats petsmart's rats are so much fatter then petco! atlest petsmart lets u take them out of the box to see the size! all heart petsmart but they really got some dumb people in there some times :3 anyways here are some of the photos hope u guys like them!


got the head down i was soo happy!


most of the body i got kinda scared right here he look like he was having a lil trouble geting the fat belly down...


after he got the fat belly down i started taking more photos almost done! he move from one side to the other of the water bowl and used his body to put it down more


i really think its going to always shock me to see a snake the legs and tell down!

Thanks Rob all the help from everyone on here did pay off. but im not going to lie i did get a little scared when Roe was slow eating the belly was like ooo no o no just get it down i will be posting a photo for after he got it down i never knew that snakes acted like he did after eating a big meal! was like woh... is he go.(but after talking to some people and having them tell me that snakes move around funny and rub there faces on the glass and stuff after eating to let there food go down i feel like i am in the clear!)

Looks to me like she was having a bit more trouble realigning her jaw, but not anything to worry about. Maybe due to having the larger prey ?

It seems like Roe does this everytime he eats.. no matter the size if I rember right Roe did this the last time I feed him the adult white mice as well.
