Just to clarify...Cedar and Pine are okay to use for cages IF and only IF sealed correctly...true or false? and what about cork board for inside the bottom?

Really? Well that's going to save me a lot on my next build... lol. Any thing special that needs to be used to seal them or just the usual polyurethane?

Just the usual =3 I don't even have to use all that stuff anymore...found an already build cage that is 8x3x2.5 (Lxwxh) for $20!!! It was used for a lizard before, so I'll need to stain and seal it pretty good...but oh man what a steal!!! It's GIANT!

Yes just make sure you let it air out for a week or so.. then add heat and heat it up and air it out some more. When I finish building a viv I allow 1 week of airing out then I heat it up as hot as I can get it for 2 days to "cook" off any fumes. I then leave the heat on low and Air it out for 2-3 days until I can no longer smell anything. If there is still odor Heat it up and air it out again.
