She is stunning. I wanted one for my kids but got told they are a bit boring as they sleep all day and you don't see them much, I don't know if that is true but I still want one.

I don't think so. They do tend to be more active at night, but they still are active sometimes during the day, and I definitely don't find mine boring.
Also, if OP is still around, is that a mack snow?

I too would have to disagree. They are more active in the early evening/dusk and night -- but then most geckos are. But mine was often out and about. She was very inquisitive.
