Ok Ill keep this thread to just herp/inverts and save the bigger animals for the community thread. Had such an amazing time! I love living in a big city, but I do miss being out in the bush and being able to see animals like this. Couldve stayed for years! Unfortunately never got to see a monitor, just a very fast tail of one as it scurried down a burrow. Next time...

Africa is such a beautifull country,i would not like ALL the creepy crawlys though,i'm terrifed of all that

There were definitely loads of the creepy crawly types running around. The spiders and solifuge were all in the room, and scorpions just outside the room. I was pretty happy about it... my wife not so much.
