Re: Rose haired T
I used to be terrified of spiders but the tarantula we had before her broke me of my fear of them!

Re: Rose haired T
Congrats! I have a rose hair and he's great. I don't handle him much but when I do he's a sweet boy. Just kind of ambles along.
Like you, I used to be terrified of spiders. I still don't care for holding mine much, but I have grown to appreciate them and find them fascinating. I'd like to have a few more just to observe. I'm seriously considering a trap door spider now.

Re: Rose haired T
a trapdoor spider is an austrailian spider that is nocturnal, it digs a burrow, then builds a camoflauged door, and waits for a bug or lizard to step on the door. its a big and very deadly spider. their are twelve families, if im not mistaken.
oh, and theirs a species that lives in the trees.

Re: Rose haired T
A trap door spider isn't for handling, but for keeping and observing. The way they build their homes with the rap door and snag prey is really neat
