Speckled King Line Up for 2013

Some of the amels may look like splendida but they are from the yellow amel female and a wc Refugio Co., TX male.
Refugio County is known for both splendida and holbrooki phenotypes.....an intergrade zone
The WC male must have been het for amel and the odds were blown out of the water as there were 9 amels and 1 het that hatched from the 10 eggs in 2011. It looks like a pair of my holdbacks are turning yellow like mom.....
Amel Female from Yellow Amel Female and WC Refugio Co, TX Male

Re: Speckled King Line Up for 2013

Pete,
I will only have some offspring next year that will carry the white wall gene...since I have no visual or het for WW female.
But I am breeding a WW male X Amel...
I am also breeding the DH WW & Lav X Yellow amel....
And...DH WW & Amel X Yellow Amel.....

Thanks Everyone....
These along with Splendida are near and dear to me...as I can find them in the wild around here and I have been for many years.
