I use rubber maids.....or sterilite....storeage boxes.....but this is because I have a large number of snakes...
tanks with lids are a good choice...

here is a few photos of my rack...

well since I breed them I don't really use too big of a 'tank' for them. I use ones that are just good enough for them.
The sterilite box that I am using are 22 1/4 x 17 x 6 inches big. Or 28 Quart storeage boxes.

But if you have like a few of them and would like to let them crawl around, a 50 gallon tank is pretty good already. These snakes don't get too big...they are only around 5 feet.....but of course there are some that get up to 7 feet for records....but most of them are in the 4-5 feet range. So a 50 gallon tank is very good for them already. Unless you want to put them in the wild...hahaha where they have unlmited space where they can go anywhere they want....LOL

thanks

I have a rack for my adults which has 32 long X 14 deep x 6 high so I follow the what is just good enough as well. I am supposed to be getting a 52 inch male tomorrow and I was wondering if what I had already would be large enough and I guess so! thanks!

You can view someone's pictures in their photogallery by clicking the little camera beside their name. We use a 40 gallon wide tank for our adult corns and kings that we have in display tanks - it is 36" long by 18" wide and about 16" high. They are a great tank size because they have more floor space than some of the larger volume tanks that have all their space in height. The lower tank is easier to clean out too. Youngsters are housed in rubbermaids because they are more secure than the tanks.

Simon, very nice system! You could do an add for "alternate uses for Rubbermaid containers". Rubbermaid paying you to show all those labels in that one pic? LOL.
