Thanks... I was so sick of his old viv. It looked tacky as it was a converted wardrobe and the rest were shop built.

You must have used a massive screw to hold that branch up?

Oh yes!! 3 x 6 inch heavy duty wood screws.. I put in branches and logs this way for all my snakes, and all of them make good use of the extra room. Helps keep their muscles strong with the added exercise aswell.

Iv done the same but it's screwed from both ends, great use, and I agree about the exercise for muscle tone.

What a lovely looking viv. Beautiful snake as well. What are the sizes of the viv and Mario?

Re: New viv set up for CA dwarf pastel boa (mario)

Nice set up. Too elaborate for me though. It would take way too much time after the initial set up to maintain that adequatly. So easy to just swap out precut currigated liners, spray down the insides of the tank, wipe, let dry, replace water in water bowls. I stopped using loose substrate when I got my 5th boa

I don't mind the extra time needed to clean.. If I choose to own more snakes then it's also my responsibility to provide the best I can for them, regardless of time frames.
