So I finally finished Cleo's new viv. Turned out pretty good, but the door locker thingie chipped and cracked my glass, so until I can get another pane of glass, I placed the chipped part on the outside in the center so cleo can't cut herself on it.

It's 36"x12"x18" LxWxH. It's for my spotted python. I just realized how stupid I was for thinking a battery operated light would be sufficient. Lol. I'll have to wire something else or do without! Lol.
That looks smart I have started plants on the back of mine I made it from scratch three weeks ago.i used strip of led lights with a 12 volt transformer for day light. Cost me £9 in total off eBayimage.jpg

I have a battery operated light in my enclosure. I just bought rechargeable batteries and a charger. I find it works pretty well. But I definitely plan on upgrading to a wired fixture when I build the larger enclosure.
