Huge Ball!?!?!?

O.k. Ladies and Gents, quick question, I am aware that all balls eat at their own pace and that male and female eating habits are different also. My question is this; my bro-sis pair were born on June 10, 2002. My male is a measly 245 grams, and my female, Eve, is a whopping 840 grams. She is not overfed, as her head is in propotion to her body, she is by no means a "pinhead". She is wider than a can of pop, and will not deny herself one meal, (except when in shed). Should I offer her smaller meals (curently eating a rat 100-120 grams, onc a week, or should I keep her going and be grateful that she is such a great eater. Thanks.

as long as the prey items are not too big, and you're sure she's not obese then i would be thanking the snake gods u have a good eater. Mine is the same way she's almost a year old and is huge. If you are still worried cut back her feeding to once every 10 days. Her prey should be about the same size as her girth. and between 7 - 10 days. is there any skin showing? like the scales being seperated (should be whiteness in between the scales) .. even a few days after she eats? and does she have troulbe getting into coils??

Pythonian, no, no signs of being overfed, she rolls right up into a tight ball ith no signs of scale stress, and looks just great. I was just thinking that her eating a relatively-sized food item every week woudl be too much for her growing body, I'm just worrying and should just be super-grateful. Thanks.

Then yea, congratulations. It's hard to tell without a picture of the snake to see it's obese, but it sounds fine. if it doesn't regurge, and is active (as active as a ball can be) and is feeding on her own without signs of obesity. then awesome!
