A Jumper Spider and a possible Wolf?
Basically just playing around with my macro lens, nothing really great beside one picture I really like. All the jumper pictures looks bad cause he was just so darn small and wouldn't sit still, the possible wolf spider was all taken through glass as she was huge and I was terrified to get close encase she jumped at my camera, only one not taken through glass is the one taken outside which I will post first.
Anyway hope you all like, Mitch wanted me to water mark them so excuse my silly job.
Outside Photo
Bad face attempted, didn't bother to mark it
Another fang attempt, also didn't bother
She was really pretty
On to my favorite little buddy
And finally my absolute favorite picture

Re: A Jumper Spider and a possible Wolf?
Nice shots.
The first spider is a type of orb weaver (they make the classic wheel shaped web). No jumping abiity at all.

Thanks Shaun, she had such a nice pattern! I wish I had gotten more shots of it.

Re: A Jumper Spider and a possible Wolf?
The first spider is a Araneus diadematus, or the European Garden Spider. No relation to wolf spiders.
Also, wolf spiders are hunters, they never make webs.
Also, love the jumping spider! They are my favourite type of spider.

Re: A Jumper Spider and a possible Wolf?
Thanks Paree, are they common around canada? Friend of mine guessed a wolf but she doesn't know much more about spiders then I do I just know i've never seen one like that before.
