Personally i would be extremely wary of putting myself and my animals out on tv, seeing the number of shows like "Essex Jungle" and "Britains Strangest Pets" it seems to be that most of the reptile owners are made out to be freaks and shown in a poor light for the most part.
I would need A LOT of information and assurances upfront that the program is to educate the general public about reptile keeping rather than exploit our hobby even more than it already is.

the first instance i saw something i did'nt like.....
i'd just lift my snakes and walk mate...
Rob,not that i'd be interested in going on tv,hell i've done my best over the years to stay off " crime watch UK " on television 
would'nt it be nice,if it was a tv programme that actually told the TRUTH about reptile keepers mate

Wow... I never realised snake owners felt this strongly about tv shows! It was never my intention to appear mysterious or deceptive- I'm only a temp working for a production company in the uk called optomen- think gordon ramsay, jamie oliver, heston, mary portas- reality with experts basically.
All they would like is to borrow a snake and its snake owner for a couple of days, put them up for a night or two and see how young people react to dealing with the pet and its owner. I'm sorry that I can't give more away!

theres been plenty instances where reptile keepers have been painted badly on tv
RIGHT NOW there are organisations,currently trying to BAN reptile keeping in th UK
they have had reptile shows cancelled,by badgering local councils to the point,THAT the shows are being cancelled (CALLING IN BOMB SCARES ETC)
people like these HYPOCRITE'S in my link

if you want to work with snake keepers,you should really have put a little research into whats going on,within the reptile world in the UK (not being cheeky mate)

My response was in no way having a go at YOU, just the way that we are normally portrayed on tv
Just speaking as a reptile keeper i would NOT take any of my animals to a hotel for a couple of days and/or have thme being passed around and handled by strangers or being in a strange place.
Snakes are specialised animals with specific temperature and humidity requirements, i dont believe that any true reptile lovers would allow there snakes to be kept away from these optimum condition for more than an hour or two at most.
You MAY be able to find someone willing but the chances are they wouldnt be a great representation of our hobby at its best.

also i hope you understand NO offence was mean't towards you,theres just so much going on in the UK at the minute,we have people lobbying parliment,to stop people from keeping non native reptiles,in Europe and the UK
