New to forums
Hi. I am planning on getting a snake in a few weeks and am in the process of learning all I can about my snake before I bring it home. I am getting a red tail boa. Any experience related do's and don't would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: New to forums
Tip #1: don't forget to buy a thermostat. Without one, your heat source can get too hot and cook your snake. Buying a thermostat is essential to proper husbandry
Congrats, by the way! You must be very excited about bring home your snake.

Welcome to the forums! You certainly came to the right place to learn. I've been here for only a short while and I've learned so much.

Ideally have an idea of what snake you want, do alot of reading and ask questions about them and then get the enclosure set and running for a short while BEFORE you buy the snake, that way any temperature or humidity issues can be ironed out before their is a live animal living in it
