Feeding day
I am constantly amazed at the heat seeking missile/bullet train impact my retic has when feeding. I feed either fresh killed or FT rats. My boa will quickly grab and squeeze like she is just really pissed off at the rat. My JCP is so chill, she grabs, give a little "hug" and chows down. My retic is un-flipping-real how hard and fast she hits food. She sucks down large rats like nothing and then she is in DEFCON 4 mode for about an hour after....I go nowhere near her enclosure after feeding for an hour or so.
You guys have talked about retic feeding response before, but it just has to be witnessed to understand it!

Sucks to be you. Mine are out almost as soon as they're done eating, but I don't open their enclosures for 48 hours after anyways.

Re: Feeding day
Yeah retics are insane feeders. Definitely not one to mess with when they are hungry. lol
My girl is usually in feeding mode for about an hour after also. She doesn't hesitate at all to get her teeth into the f/t rat. They're beasts!
