97 Babies! | The Reptile Report

One gravid female garter snake delivered 97 babies, 3 of the born with two heads!

They are indigenous to the person's home, so they will be released into the wild in a prime habitat area.

3 born with two heads? Isn't that extremely rare to even have one two headed snake in dozens of liters?

Yes that is rare, 2 were born dead and the third was put down because it had no lower jaws.

The real rare ones are the 2 headed snakes that live.

I saw this earlier somewhere and wondered if you had saw it yet. Then I realized what forum it was on and thought you'd already seen it lol Took you long enough to post it here lol

That's still amazing to see an animal produce that many offspring!
