Question Cleaning a fogger

I bought a fogger from craigslist...it was a great deal!

But one problem.... It wasnt cleaned or taken care of, there is like this nasty brown algae **** all over the channel where water goes... and also there's a white stuff on the sides in the channel..i think its a calcium build up. also brown stuff inside the tube!
so is there any safe way to clean that out?
and how do i clean out the tube?

Re: Cleaning a fogger

I would get a q-tip dipped in vinegar and clean it all out. Then run it for a while to get out the vinegar.

Re: Cleaning a fogger

soak in vinegar first for an hour , then diluted bleach for an hour should do the trick and then scrub it all down and rinse it.
