Re: Mites!?!?!?
I Took every thing out of his cage and soaked it in a big tub of steaming water with natural chemistry reptile spray mixed in... so it would be ok for his water tub...then i took all the cypress out and threw it in a dumpster...i washed his cag with hot water and then put his hidce only back in his cage... then sprayed his cage with Prevent A Mite.... Meanwhile he was sprayed with natural chemistry reptile spay and was left to dry... then i dump some warm water in there so it will wash the stuff of o him... then i took him out dumped all of the dirty mite water out of his soaking tub and replaced it with warm water so he can soak and mabye clean of more... after that was done it had been about 20 min of prefent a mite sitting in his cage. so i put paper towel in his cage for short tern but suince there are more mites it mite be his bedding for a while. thank and please reply

Re: Mites!?!?!?
I cant get to my can of provent a mitee at the moment to check but i believe you are meant to spray whatever substrate you are going to use for it to be effective. You sprayed the tanke and then covered it over with untreated paper towels so the mites can live on the towels without being affected.

Re: Mites!?!?!?
Give the blood another bath using a nix/water solution. I would maybe buy a temporary sterilite tub for him to stay in for the time being. Also you could soak all cage furnishings in a bleach/water solution. Good luck.

Just a thought, as the PAM stays active for a month should he be adding more chemicals to the mix at this point?

As I stated he should probably move the snake to a tub for the time being. Sorry it was a little unclear.

Re: Mites!?!?!?
Nix is a human treatment for hair lice. You can buy it at any pharmacies or drug store.

Re: Mites!?!?!?
Use one or the other but not both in my opinion, id you are gonna leave him in same tank then spray the towels with pam, if you are gonna use nix then he needs a differnt tank for a month imo
