Colorado Snake ID please

Greetings,

Walking my dog on a bike path here in Boulder, Colorado yesterday and I almost stepped on this snake. It was a juvenile, about a foot long. Any idea what kind of snake?

Thanks

Thamnophis Elegans Vegrans - wandering garter snake.

Harmless and very common.
