Umbilical Cord question.

Okay, so I bought a baby ball python about 2 weeks ago. He's anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks old. And I noticed he had a little cut near his end, it looked like it was healed and so I didn't worry about it. Now, two weeks later, it's still there. I'm just courious if it's from his umbilical cord? And if so how long does it take to heal? Thanks!!

These were the best photos I could capture. He's such a hyper guy.

My boa had the same mark for the first few months we had him.

Re: Umbilical Cord question.

My male spider had it when I got him, he still has it and has adjusted to his scale size. He is already 1.5 years old and no problems, so no worries

Yes. It's where the umbilical cord was. It's fine. It looks healed.
