Python about to shed question

I went to give my boy BARNABAS his daily sun soak on the trampoline, and his eyes were milky,
I know this is a sign that he is going to shed soon.
I took him out anyway and he went on the grass for a poop, and he usually climbs back up onto the tramp to stretch out and sun bake, but he stayed on the grass. What the usuall routine is, is that he goes on the tramp, gets some sun, goes onto the grass for a poop, then climbs back on the tramp and spends about an hour sun baking, then when he has had enough he moves onto the grass which is the indication that I put him away.
Im quite sure it's normal that he wanted to go back because he's going to shed, but I just wanted to make sure.
Do I just leave him be and not disturb him until he has shed?

Re: Python about to shed question

i have found that ALL my carpets, pick a spot in their tanks, then curl up through out the latter proccess of shedding

after they shed they usually sit at the hot end for 5 to 10 days

i would leave your snake in the tank until it sheds, then give it 7 days of peace after its shed

cheers shaun
