BRB help again ;(

I had noticed a dark spot on his head when i got him , but didn't think anything about it as it looked ok . Well he shed last evening in one nice long peice , but the little spot is gone and so are a few scales from there and he has a little white spot on his head.

I think maybe the spot was a burn from from the light they had him under or a rub when he was hiding under the green carpet they had. Well the little spot is like 4 scales in size , right on top of his head when i checked the shed skin sure enough the 4 scales were in the shed and dark like they had just peeled off.

He seems ok , but is there some thing i should put on it like antibiotic? I'll try to get a pic tonite and add it to the thread later. It just seems like a little raw spot , and I dont want it to get some fungus or infected . will these scales grow back in after while or will he have a scar there now? I'll may have to name him Kojak.

Sounds like a scab that came off. You can put Neosporin on it just make sure it the kind Without pain reliever in it.

yes it seems like a scab , I'll try the neosporin . sure hope the scales come back .
