Nothing wrong with her, she'll go in the hides when she figures out they're safe. Hope to see photos soon.

How large are your hides? Baby corns like very close, cozy hides. But I wouldn't worry too much, many times snakes interpret our interior design attempts far differently then we planned!

She's just getting used to her new home and using what she feels is the safest way to hide. All my snakes did that when I first installed them in their new tanks with aspen, even with paper towel they'd be underneath.

In a week or two you'll start seeing them use more and more of the tank and the hides. Especially with corns they are active and out often, it won't be long until she discovers the comforts of her other furnishings.

They just like to hide...that's what they do. They most likely come out to drink when nobody is watching.

I would not worry about it

i wouldn't think that's a problem because she probably thinks its a safe spot and dozed off.

if it's your first snake you will find that most snakes will hide most of the time. They are noctuinal and besides my overly active ball python that is always doing something the rest of my snakes will just lay around intill nighttime.
