Could my Hogs jaw be broken ...

Well today was the first feed for my new Hog isle Boa and she ate great , after she was back in her cage she struck the acrylic door as i was walikng by . I have had other snakes do this but this time her jaw looks messed up . One side looks folded back into her mouth . She has tried several times to re adjust and its not working . Could it be the skin is hung on her teeth . Should i try to help her out .. Pic attached . Any help and opinions greatly appreciated ..

It could be stuck on her teeth for sure. I would take a better look to make sure. Keep us updated

Well after an hour of her jaw looking this way i decided to take action , Sure enough after a little digging with my forceps it popped loose and looks normal . I hope nothing internal was damaged but she seems fine now . I am sooooo relieved ..

this the one from desert moon? whats the weight and length ? what are you feeding her? mine stays in feeding mode for a good 48 hours and i just let her alone , but she sits with her body about 6 inces out of the hide looking for another meal. if i slide the acrylic open or go near her cage she will dart for the door thinking its more food . When i do get her out after 3 or 4 days i have to be extra careful.

Yeah mine was still in feeding mode after a rat pup and struck the glass as i was walking off after i put her back in .. She is all coiled up in the back corner now i think she is ok . She is 3 ft. and 300 grams ..

I'd have to agree with this assessment. I've been through this scenario before. She would have eventually worked it out. I think a snake would have to have a very, very serious vitamin deficiency or extreme mouth rot to break a jaw. They are designed to be extremely flexible and all.
